World Food Day - WFP campaign (video)

WFP, the World Food Programme has launched a video to support World Food Day. It's rather good.

1- WFP is the world's largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger.
2- WFP is funded entirely by voluntary donations.
3- WFP says feeding a hungry child is one of the smartest investments you can make, it costs next to nothing.

Check out WFP's three actions, one big impact video, in conjunction with World Food Day.

WFP's campaign is supporting World Food Day, October 16 2012, that seeks to raise awareness about the need to end world hunger, as well as raising awareness about how to end world hunger.

It's easy to help WFP at our dedicated fundraising page.

Pretenders Singapore + PETA fan (Video)

Wonderful moment at Pretenders show at the Singapore Grand Prix when Chrissie Hynde invites a fan with a PETA charity T-shirt on stage. Check it out - Brass in Pocket. What a voice.

Chrissie Hynde is a long-term advocate of animal welfare issues and supports several animal welfare charities including PETA and Humane Society International (HSI). At Xperedon Charity News we covered her stance on animal testing for cosmetics across the EU, earlier this year.
